Catch and collect

Catch and collect is an app designed to study and present to the user indicators of fast-fashion consumption interactively. It includes games that place the user in various environments where they need to collect or catch items to progress through the game. After each game, the user is presented with a collection of all the items they collected. The process of designing this game helped me go beyond the typical UX process of prototyping the user’s journey. This game challenged me to translate the ideas of accumulation, excess and helplessness due to inaccessibility to sustainable options in game format that is engaging. Everyday habits can go unnoticed, but having a game like this could help show case to the user that alternatives exist within their reach.
